Organitational Information

The Chamber of Exporters of Santa Cruz de la Sierra (CADEX) is a private non-profit institution, hich groups together all kinds of people; whether they have a legal personality or not and who are dedicated to enforce the export in goods and services all around Santa Cruz and also in the Regions of the country where there is no similar gremial institution.

CADEX was founded in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra in July 1 of 1986 obtaining its legal personality by Supreme Resolution dated the same day.

Our Objetives

  • To further the exportation in goods and services produced by the Region and the Country through the different established mechanisms.

  • To carry out and to implement differential services of technical assistance for the companies, which have, export possibilities.

  • To assist and to put forward the implementation of agreements, regulations and any kind of dispositions, which encourage the exporting effort and eliminate the negative influences to this effort.

  • To monitor the completion of the law in force in order to promote a severe ethical normative during the exportation.

  • To draw up course programs in production, promotion and quality which can be expounded by foreign technical attendance to the export companies.

  • To establish cooperation agreements with domestic and foreign organisms guided to enforce and diversify the exportation.

  • To organize and to up date the exporting offer of Santa Cruz checking the items of the companies regularly.

 

Servicies

Exports Promotion

The promotion of the exports is constituted in one of our main action environments, in which we develop a continuous work to increase and diversification the exports through the organization of the regional and national participation in international fairs, managerial missions, and the diffusion of commercial information and the exportable offer.

Support to the Export Companies

The administration and support to the exports understand those actions carried out by the Chamber, on behalf of the sector exporter, before the government's organisms, international organizations and companies of service to the foreign trade, in the implementation of political government, infrastructure projects, tax neutrality, integration Agreements and others. This Activity understands:

  • Administration of Projects
  • Administration in the Commercial Agreements
  • Administration of Political Promoters of Exports

Technical attendance and Advice to the Companies Exporters

The activities understood inside the technical attendance have as objective the advice to the company's exporters and the possible exporters in topics as the steps and export procedures; information has more than enough legislation, commercial agreements, etc.

At the present time, the Chamber of Exporters of Santa Cruz counts with more than 180 companies associated in the whole Department, the same ones that generate around 62% of the total of the non traditional exports of the country, representing near 35% of the exported total including to the denominated traditional exports (minerals and hydrocarbons).

Certification of Origin

Starting from the month of he/she withers of 2005 the National Chamber of Exporters from Bolivia it assumes the functions of Certification of Origin of the Exports, being each regional Chamber in charge of offices management.

CADEX is administering the offices of Santa Cruz and Arroyo Concepción, in which it extends the respective Certificates of origin according to the international normative.
