ECONOMIC COMPLEMENTATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN BOLIVIA AND MEXICO (ACE 31)

The Free Trade Agreement ( FTA ) between Bolivia and the United Mexican States was signed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in September 10 of 1994 by the Presidents of Bolivia and Mexico, substituting the Partial Scope Agreement about the Renegotiation of the Historic Patrimony – AAP Nº 31 of April 30, 1983. The Treatment was subscribe and recognized by the General Secretariat of the Latin American Integration ( ALADI ) as an Economic Complementation Agreement Nº 31 – ACE 31 and entered in force in Bolivia in January 1, 1995 in concordance to the Supreme Law 23933 of December 23, 1994. The TLC between Bolivia and Mexico established a Free Trade Area between the Parties which will endure a maximum of 15 years and its legal framework is according to the General Agreement of Tariffs and Trade ( GATT )
